I am sorry to announce that the Football Frenzy web site will be down until further notice. Joseph DiBiase, the creator and keeper of the Football Frenzy web site, lost a long difficult battle with cancer and other associated illnesses on Jan 30th 2000. Those that did not know Joe personally will be interested to know that he was a U.S. Marines veteran who served in the Korean War. The Purple Heart awarded him, and the seldom told stories of battles fought, give insight to the courage of a very brave man. Those of us that did know Joe, know how much the Football Frenzy web site, his other internet projects, and his computers in general meant to him. Joe was one of those guys that had to be the first on the block to have all the newest gadgets & gizmos. He told me many times about the days with his first XT with a 5 meg hard drive and cassette tape drive. When I brought my first computer home back in 1994, Joe was right there to offer whatever help was needed. Over the last couple of years the tables had turned a bit, and Joe would ask me for advice or assistance more often than not. I can't help but think that I may not have the career I now have as a programmer if it had not been for Joe.
